Today we are talking about dreams, that’s right DREAMS! Focusing on your dreams and your vision for what you want out of your life is an important step to combat burnout, not to mention that it is fun.   It is really easy to talk about the things that we want, but in order to get that thing or get to that place, you have to do some hard work!

In this episode, we are talking not only about your vision for what you want, but also the goals to get you there.  I walk you through the steps it takes to determine your long term goals that will help motivate you and lead you out of burnout. You know, it is completely different to say you want something but do not act, verses stating your goal and planning for actual success. Therefore, step six in the BURNED-IN Process is all about figuring out what you want in the first place!

In this episode you will:

  • Get the steps to help you determine your long term goals (13:30)
  • Determine your word of the year (19:05)
  • Be able to make your goals attainable by making them SMART (20:30)
  • Know how to create your MISSION board (22:43)
  • Understand how knowing what you're going to adopt, change, and abandon is important when determining your long term goals (25:05)
