In this episode Erin Roberts, a Special Education teacher from Florida, takes us through her journey from crying at her dinner table to asking for what she needed to help her through her daily challenges in her career.

Erin Roberts is 27 years young and a third-year special education teacher. Pilates, anything water-related, and Bravo TV are her preferred activities!

It is so easy to get lost and caught up in the daily routine. It is okay to ask for help/breaks, whether that be your paraprofessionals, administrator, seeking therapy, etc. You do not have to do it all. There are people to help you, so utilize them for a healthier and happier you.

1. Don't reinvent the wheel!

2. BREATHE

3. Remember that YOU ARE CAPABLE!

CALL TO ACTION: THINGS YOU CAN DO TOMORROW

  1. REALLY think about the things that you want for your life.  Write all these down in your journal, brain-dump style.
  2. Reflect on WHY you haven't worked towards those things you really wanted. What has been challenging you and/or holding you back?
  3. When you know what is challenging you, seek solutions, and reach out for help.
